Brandon Nakashima vs Ugo Humbert Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Wimbledon Championships

Unseeded Brandon Nakashima has already beaten one seed in this year's Wimbledon tournament. He attempts to beat another one when taking on the 16th seed Ugo Humbert in round three. The winner will be up against either Carlos Alcaraz or Frances Tiafoe in the last 16.

Nakashima is hoping to make it into the fourth round of this grass court tournament for the second time in his career. He reached that stage here in 2022 and that remains his best performance in a Grand Slam tournament. 

The American has played well in recent grass court events with two semi-finals reached. One was in the Surbiton Challenger Tour event but he then also got to the last four in the ATP Tour BOSS Open held in Stuttgart.

It's gone well for him so far in this Grand Slam. Round one saw him beat 18th seed Sebastian Baez in straight sets. He followed that up by beating Jordan Thompson without dropping a set. Only 16 games have been lost in those two matches.

Ugo Humbert also has a best performance of reaching the fourth round at Wimbledon. He managed to do that in 2019 but this is only his second time in the third round since then. He's been rising up the rankings this year due to a couple of hard court title wins.

His clay court season wasn't that great and so far he's only reached one grass court semi-final this year. That was in the Libema Open but that was followed by first match losses at Queen's Club and in the Mallorca Open.

He had a tough time in the first round here and needed to go to a final set to defeat Alexander Shevchenko. Round two went better with a straight sets win over Botic van de Zandschulp. This looks tougher and we tip Nakashima to win.
