Jack Draper is up against American Brandon Nakashima in the semi-finals of the NextGen Finals. The British player is ranked 43rd in the world and that's 220 places higher than he was at this time in 2021. Draper is the third seed for this tournament but the highest remaining one. He lost his opening round-robin match to Dominic Stricker and then lost the first set (matches are best of five sets, first to four games for some strange reason) in his second match to Tseng Chung-hsin. He had wins over Jiri Lehecaka, Francesco Parra and Matteo Arnaldi, the latter taking him to five sets. This also should be a tight match and Draper can get the win, possibly in four sets.
