Brandon Nakashima vs David Goffin Prediction & Betting Tips - Swiss Indoors ATP Basel

Brandon Nakashima takes on wild card David Goffin in the first round of the Swiss Indoors Championships. The America is 43rd in the rankings at the time of writing this preview. That's a career high and the American was as low as 82nd earlier this year. He recently won the San Diego Open, a massive result for him as he was born in that city. Nakashima reached the quarter finals in Florence in his most recent tournament, losing to Felix Auger-Aliassime. 

David Goffin is a former top 10 player but has slipped down the rankings in recent years. He's up to 53rd in the live rankings after getting to the last eight of the European Open beating third seeded Diego Schwartzman (much happier on clay) but then losing to Richard Gasquet in straight sets. He has had success this year with a title win in Marrakech but that was on clay, not an indoor hard court. Form has improved though and he recently beat world number one Carlos Alcaraz.  This is his first ever match against his opponent who has been more consistent this year. Nakashima can be backed to win this, a tie-break is a distinct possibility.
