Botic Van De Zandschulp vs Liam Broady Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Wimbledon Championships

Unseeded Botic van de Zandschulp faces wild card Liam Broady for a place in round two at Wimbledon. In the second round, the winner of this match will be up against either 16th seed Ugo Humbert or unseeded Alexander Shevchenko. 

Van de Zandschulp is 97th in the live rankings and is bidding to reach the second round at Wimbledon for the fourth year in a row. His best performance has been making it to round four in 2022 when seeded 21st.

The Dutchman has only played one grass court match this year. He was beaten in his first match at the Libema Open, going down in three sets to Mackenzie McDonald. He's 2-2 in previous matches against Broady but this their first match on grass.

Liam Broady has also been slipping down the rankings and is down to 156th in the live rankings. In the Live ATP Race, the British player is a lowly 459th, over 300 places below his opponent.

Broady lost to Yoshihito Nishioka in the first round at Eastbourne last week. He's made it to round three at Wimbledon for the past two years but his form at present is a concern. He's been off-court in recent months due to injury.

Banging his head on a car boot forced him to miss the Nottingham Open.  He's not in good form and will hope a return to Wimbledon will bring some improvement. We go for Van de Zandschulp to get the victory.
