Botic Van De Zandschulp vs Andrey Rublev Prediction & Betting Tips - Rolex Paris Masters

Fifth seeded Andrey Rublev faces qualifier Botic Van de Zandschulp for a place in the quarter finals of the Paris Masters. Their last eight opponent will be either 13th seeded Alex de MInaur, fourth seed Jannik Sinner or Mackenzie McDonald. Rublev is fifth in both the live overall rankings and the ATP Race. His place in the Tour Finals has already been confirmed so the pressure is off on that score. The Russian recently reached the final of the Shanghai Masters and the quarter finals of the US Open. A win over Van de Zandschulp will see him in the fourth round of the Paris Masters for the first time in his career. This week has seen him beat Yoshihito Nishioka in straight sets. He's 1-1 in previous meetings with Van de Zandschulp on the ATP Tour. The most recent match was in Dubai this year (also on a hard court) with Rublev winning in straight sets.

Botic Van de Zandschulp had never got past the first round of the Paris Masters before this year. The last three Masters events he's played have all seen him beaten in round two. Now he bids to reach the fourth round in Paris, equalling his performance in Miami earlier this year. Van de Zandschulp had to win two qualifying matches to get into the main draw of this tournament. Once there he beat Adrian Mannarino in straight sets and followed that up by defeating 12th seed Tommy Paul in three sets, losing the middle one. His run in Paris have seen him rise from 60th to 51st in the live rankings. Van de Zandschulp is bidding to reach his first hard court quarter final since Dubai earlier in 2023. Rublev is in good form though and he can win this in straight sets.
