The New York Knicks will travel to the Boston Celtics in their next match in the NBA, seeking to return to winning ways. The Knicks enter this match with the third-best record in the Eastern Conference and trail the Celtics in second place by three games. Below is our prediction for this match.

The Celtics are coming into this match having lost just once in nine games. Joe Mazzulla’s men, who haven’t lost in four outings, defeated the Sixers 124-104 in Philadelphia as they resumed their season after the All-Star break. 

The win has them as only the third team this season to clock 40 wins. Boston have been in great form this season and sit in the top 10 places for both offence and defence. 

The Knicks are coming off an embarrassing loss away to East highflyers the Cleveland Cavaliers. 

Playing on the second night of a back-to-back after the All-Star break, Tom Thibodeau’s men were blown out 142-105 in Cleveland. Josh Hurt missed the game, his second in a row, due to a knee issue. 

The loss snapped a three-match winning run and was the worst under Thibodeau who has been at the helm for five years. New York, are now on a 37-19 record.
