Boston Celtics vs Cleveland Cavaliers Prediction & Betting Tips - NBA Playoffs
by in Basketball Predictions
Kyrie Irving and Lebron James turned up massively for Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals against Boston Celtics, bagging 76 points to lift the Cavs to a 112 – 99 win and heading to Game 5 Celtics have all to play for. They will be playing at home so they are expected to have a feisty fight. With three wins in the opening four games, Cleveland have averaged 115.3 points during the playoffs and in the Eastern Conference Finals they have averaged 116.8 points, which is the highest points-per-game return in a series in franchise history. While Celtics have to win this to have any chance, Cavs will be seeking a win to clinch their third straight and fourth overall appearance in the NBA Finals. Though they lost Game 3 to Celtics the last time they played away, Cavs will be buoyed the fact they have now scored 100 or more points in their first 12 post season games. The Celtics will still be without Isaiah Thomas but Avery Bradley has done well; his game winning act in Game 3 was just a highlight as he managed 20 points, three rebounds and four assists and followed it with 19 points, five rebounds and three assists in Game 4. Cavs, on their part, will be without Edy Tavares, who has a right hand fracture. Celtics have now lost three of their last five outings and two in their last five home games while Cavs have lost just once in their last five away matches.
