The Boston Celtics will play host to the Cleveland Cavaliers at TD Garden in the NBA on Wednesday morning. The Celts (11-3) are second in the Eastern Conference, while the Cavs (15-0) lead the conference standings. Let’s get into the match prediction.

The Boston Celtics have made a solid start to the season and will be aiming for a third consecutive victory here after beating the Raptors 126-123 in overtime on Sunday.

Jaylen Brown scored 27 points and seven assists, while Jayson Tatum added 24 points, but they were unable to shake off the pesky Raps until overtime, holding them scoreless in the final minute.

The Celtics are now second in the scoring charts this season, putting up 121.6 points per game while allowing 111.4 PPG, which ranks 13th in the league.

Meanwhile, the only team hotter than the C’s in the East this season has been the Cleveland Cavaliers, who picked up their 15th straight win, beating the Hornets 128-114 on Sunday. 

It was another team effort that got Cleveland the victory, with Darius Garland scoring 25 points, Ty Jerome adding 24 and Evan Mobley chipping in with 23, as the team shot 57% from the field. 

The Cavaliers are the highest-scoring team in the NBA this season, putting up 2.1 points more than the Celts, while on defence, both these teams are conceding the same number of points per outing.
