Borna Ćorić vs Frances Tiafoe Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Wimbledon Championships

29th seed Frances Tiafoe will hope for a smoother match than he had on Monday. The American takes on unseeded Borna Coric in the second round at Wimbledon. A tough match could be on the way for the winner.

The scheduled opponents in the last 32 are either qualifier Aleksandar Vukic or defending champion Carlos Alcaraz. Tiafoe is the world number 29 but hasn't had the best of years. He's up to 42nd in the ATP Live Race after Monday's win.

That was a tough opening match as he lost the first two sets to unseeded Matteo Arnaldi. He made a great recovery though and only dropped seven games in the next three sets. Tiafoe has reached at least the third round here in each of the past three years.

His best WImbledon performance came in 2022 when making it to the fourth round. On grass this year, he's reached the last eight in Stuttgart but then had to retire against RInky Hijikata at Queen's. He's 1-1 against Coric but this is their first match on clay.

Borna Coric is the world number 89 but was as high as 12th six years ago. Coric had a more comfortable first round win. He beat qualifier Felipe Meligeni Alves in straight sets. That was only the second main draw win he's had here, the other being nine years ago. 

All three of his grass court matches played last year ended in defeat. This is his first tournament on this surface in 2024 and we tip Tiafoe to get the win..
