Bianca Andreescu vs Emma Raducanu Prediction & Betting Tips - WTA Miami

Emma Raducanu did well to reach the last 16 at Indian Wells last week. However, the British player has a tough draw in the Miami Masters and takes on Bianca Andreescu in the first round. An even tougher draw awaits the winnner with seventh seeded Maria Sakkari the scheduled opponent. Raducanu beat two seeds (Magda Linette and Beatriz Haddad Maia) at Indian Wells before a straight sets defeat by world number one Iga Swiatek. Three wins in a tournament was quite a feat for her and in the live rankings she's up to 67th. It's been another year in which the former US Open champion (still her only ATP Tour title) has struggled for consistency, injury and illness. Last week was promising but her low ranking has presented her with a difficult draw in Miami.

Bianca Andreescu is up to 28th in the live rankings which is 18 places above her position at the start of this year. The former world number four (achieved four years ago) is slowly making her way back up the rankings after time off the court due to injury. Perhaps she can chat to her opponent and share some stories about injuries. Indian Wells saw her reach the second round but she also had to face Iga Swiatek. The Canadian lost in straight sets but did take Swiatek to a second set tie-break. Andreescu also knows what it's like to get a tough draw as the previous tournament saw her face Elena Rybakina. Her best run this year was reaching the semi-finals of the Thailand Open. There's only been one previous meeting with the British player. That was on clay in Rome last year with Raducanu retiring in the second set after losing the first. Back Andreescu to get the win here.
