Union Bordeaux Begles vs Section Paloise Prediction & Betting Tips - Top 14

Bordeaux Begles are third in Top 14 but on the same number of points as the two sides above them. They aim to get a tenth league win of the season when hosting Section Paloise who are ninth in the table. The home side won their most recent game with a 37-32 away win at RC Toulonnais. That was a vital win for them after losing their previous fixture at home to leaders Stade Francais Paris but only by four points. They led at half time in that game but only scored five points in the second half. Bordeaux had won their six previous home games in Top 14 before that narrow defeat and scored over 40 points in two of their last three.

Section Paloise are only three points behind the final play-off position and ten above the relegation places. They are another side in Top 14 that are far stronger at home than on the road. While six of their eight home fixtures have been won, they have only one away victory from seven matches. That was at USA Perpignon but they didn't build on that success. The four away games that have followed have all ended in defeat and three by at least 19 points. Their most recent away game was closer with a 22-17 defeat but that was at Montpellier who are bottom of Top 14. Section Paloise have lost their last four Top 14 games and we believe that will become five this weekend. Back Bordeaux to win on a -10 point handicap.
