Racing Metro Club 92 can go ahead of Bordeaux in Top 14 if winning this away match. They begin the weekend in sixth place but are only a point behind third placed Bordeaux. Sixth place will take Racing into the end-of-season play-offs but are only three points above seventh placed RC Toulonnais. To stay in the play-off positions, Racing need to greatly improve their current form. They have lost each of their last four games in Top 14, most recently being beaten by leaders Stade Francais Paris at home. On the road, only two of their seven games has been won with the last three all ending in defeat. Their last away match in Top 14 saw them lose 26-5 at USA Perpignon. 76 points have been conceded in their last three league fixtures.

Bordeaux are nine points behind the second place that would qualify them for the play-off semi-finals. They are also looking to improve their form having lost their last two matches in Top 14. A home loss to Section Paloise was then followed by a heavy 41-12 defeat at Castres who have won seven out of nine at home. Bordeauz have won six of their eight home league games. They'd won six in a row before losing to Stade Francais Paris (by only four points) and then Section Paloise. This is a good chance to get back into winning ways and we go for Bordeaux to win and overcome an eight point handicap.
