Crvena Zvezda will be out to get back to winning ways in the EuroLeague when they travel to play in-form Zalgiris Kaunas. Zvezda arrive for this round-six match sitting eighth in the standings while Zalgiris are second. Follow on for the preview and our prediction for this match. 

Zalgiris are on a roll in Europe. They have won four of their opening five games and are on a three-match winning run in the competition. The Lithuanian giants, who have a 100% home record, defeated visiting Maccabi Tel Aviv 78-63 last time out. 

Zalgiris are averaging an unimpressive 75.2 points but top the defensive charts as they are holding teams to 70.8 points.

Crvena Zvezda started the season in sublime form, but have hit a snag and arrive for this match following successive defeats. After an OT defeat to Barcelona at home, Ioannis Sfairopoulos’ men fell to another Spanish side, Real Madrid.

They were outclassed 95-72, allowing 90 or more points for the second successive game. Red Star are allowing 79.6 points in Europe and scoring 80 on average.

Milos Teodosic, who is averaging 5.3 points, has been ruled out of this trip due to injury. Nemanja Nedovic and Filip Petrusev are, however, expected to be available.
