Two out-of-form teams face each other in Euroleague over Friday. Zalgiris Kaunas are 16th in the table and host third placed Barcelona looking to avoid a fifth successive league loss. They were in action on Wednesday evening and were beaten 80-78 at Fenerbache. They did lead by 11 points at one stage but couldn't hold on and were beaten again. That latest loss has left them with a 5-10 record in Euroleague this season and six places adrift of the final play-off position. Home form for Zalgiris has been a struggle this season with just two out of eight games being won in Euroleague. Only Lyon have won less home games than them. Their last two have been lost with their last victory being against Bayern Munich by a single point on November 17.

Barcelona have slipped down to third in the table after losing three of their last four Euroleague fixtures. Their latest league loss was on Tuesday when losing 74-70 at Alba Berlin. Only the third quarter was lost in that loss but it was another defeat for the Spanish side. They now have a 10-5 season record in Euroleague, four wins behind leaders Real Madrid and one adrift of Virtus Bologna who have moved up to second spot. Away form for Barcelona has produced three wins and four defeats. All those four losses have come in their last five away Euroleague fixtures but a couple have been inflicted by the top two in the table. This is an easier task and we go for Barcelona to get an away win.
