Bayern Munich are away to Kaunas Zalgiris this week for matchday 24 of the EuroLeague. They currently occupy ninth place in the standings and are two wins clear of their hosts who are down in 13th. Read on for our prediction of this match.

Zalgiris have been out of form in Europe. At one point, they sat atop the table, but now, they find themselves out of the playoff places. Andrea Trinchieri’s men have won just once in their last seven matches in the EuroLeague.

They suffered their second successive defeat last time out as they fell 89-76 away to Panathinaikos. Their 12th loss of the season, saw them drop to one game behind .500.

Bayern have won the last two meetings with Zalgiris. That's inclusive of the reverse game this season which ended 77-74 last November.

With two wins from their last three games in Europe, they will be confident of another victory. Bayern got back to winning ways on matchday 23 thanks to a 99-84 victory away to struggling Alba.

The victory, their 13th of the season, moved them up the table to where only points-difference is separating them from the top six.

Bayern have been a two-faced team this season. They have been exceptional when playing at home but on the road, they have compiled one of the poorest records.
