Olympiacos will welcome Real Madrid for Game Two of their EuroLeague playoff quarter-final matchup. They lead the series 1-0 after taking Game One on Wednesday. Read on to find our prediction for this match.

Olympiacos were decisive in Game One and won 84-72. After their first basket to tie the game at 2-2 in the first quarter, Olympiacos did not relinquish the lead again. They would race to a 12-2 run and eventually win the quarter 27-14.

Gerogios Bartzokas’s men, who have now won all three meetings with Madrid this season, were up 47-29 at halftime. Sasha Vezenkov, an MVP candidate this year, poured in a game-high 23 points and grabbed seven boards.

He was the only player in the game to score more than 16 points. The Reds shot 49% from the field but were poor from three, missing 20 of 27 attempts.

Real Madrid fared a bit better from three and had quite some success from inside the arc. Their biggest undoing, however, was turnovers as they lost the ball a massive 19 times.

Facundo Campazzo, one of Madrid’s leading scorers this season, accounted for five of those spills. This would affect his output and minutes on the court.

Sergio Lull scored a team-high 16 points with no turnovers, while Mario Hezonja added 13 points. Real have been lacklustre this year and made it to the playoffs via the play-in.
