Olympiakos will host Monaco next in the EuroLeague, seeking to end their current dip in form. They enter this game with the best record, which is three wins better than fourth-placed Monaco’s account. Read on for our preview and prediction of this match. 

Olympiakos have lost their last two games. They were defeated surprisingly by lowly ASVEL 81-70 on Tuesday. Before those defeats, the Greek giants had already secured qualification for the playoffs following a six-match winning streak. 

Nonetheless, they will be keen to regain their form and avoid going into the postseason limbering. Georgios Bartzokas’ men have compiled a 22-9 record and defeated Monaco 89-80 in the reverse game.

Monaco have won their last two games. They outlasted visiting Zalgiris 96-86 in OT on Tuesday to improve their run to a 19-12 record. 

Now with three games left to conclude the regular season, Monaco can qualify for the playoffs with victory in Piraeus. The French outfit sits two wins clear of the play-in places. 

Failure to win their remaining games, however, and they might end up missing the postseason altogether. Jordan Loyd and Georgios Papagiannis, who are averaging 11 and seven points, respectively, were unavailable on Tuesday against Zalgiris due to injuries.
