Bayern Munich are at home against Crvena Zvezda in their next EuroLeague game, seeking to boost their chances of a top-six finish. The Germans enter this match in seventh, two places behind their visitors. Below is our prediction.

Bayern Munich saw a run of four successive victories snapped last time out in Europe. Gordon Herbert’s men, who were outdueled by Paris on the road, will be keen to get back on the horse.

They fell 93-88 to Paris, with the loss seeing them surrender their position in the top six. The German giants have compiled a 16-11 record after 27 rounds of play and are tied with three other teams that are all above them.

Crvena Zvezda are one of those teams above Bayern in the standings. Ioannis Sfairopoulos’s men have also won 16 of 27 games but edge Bayern and fifth-placed Paris by points difference.

The Serbian giants also had a disappointing outing on matchday 27. Hosting Zalgiris in search of a fourth successive win in Europe, the Red and Whites were outscored 86-80.

Zvezda, who have a weaker points difference than fourth-placed Monaco, the other team with a similar 16-11 record, won the reverse match.

Producing one of the longest win margins this season, Zvezda hammered Bayern 101-77 back in November.
