Saski Baskonia are at home against Crvena Zvezda in their next match in the EuroLeague. After 18 rounds of play, they find themselves in 14th place, two wins behind eighth-placed Zvezda. Below is our prediction for this match.

Baskonia are coming off a big win in their last outing in Europe. Pablo Laso’s men got back to winning ways with a 94-81 victory over league leaders Paris at home.

The eighth victory of a shaky season moved them to within two games of being a .500 team. Baskonia, who are averaging 79.1 points, have earned six of their eight victories in Europe at home.

They have also won the last six times in which Zvezda has come visiting.

Crvena Zvezda has won its last two fixtures in Europe. Ioannis Sfairopoulos’ men, who are in Spain for back-to-back games in the country, defeated Barcelona 78-74 on matchday 18.

This win improved them to 10-8 and bumped them up the standings. The Serbian giants however are just one loss away from slipping out of the playoff bracket.

This is something they will be wary of, given their struggles in Vitoria-Gasteiz. Zvezda, who are averaging 83.1 points in Europe, won 78-71 in the reverse match against Baskonia. Milos Teodosic and Filip Petrusev are doubtful for this trip.
