Barbora Krejcikova vs Garbiñe Muguruza Prediction & Betting Tips - WTA Dubai Tennis Championships

Spaniard Garbine Muguruza is the only seed left in the Dubai Tennis Championships. Seeded ninth, she takes on Barbora Krejcikova in the final, a player far more used to winning doubles events. Muguruza is in her third final of the year and her second in as many weeks. The Spaniard will be hoping it's third time lucky after losing to Ashleigh Barty in the Yarra Valley Classic and Petra Kvitova in last week's Qatar Total Open. This year has seen her win 18 matches on tour, more than any other player. This week has seen her in impressive form. Wins have come against recent winners Iga Swiatek, Aryna Sabalenka and in the semi-final, Elise Mertens. 

Krejcikova is used to lifting titles but usally with help from her doubles opponent. The Czech is ranked 63 in the singles, but seven in the doubles and won the mixed doubles at the Australian Open this year. She was the runner-up in the women's doubles too but this is her best run in a singles event for a fair while. Krejcikova struggles to get into the main draws of singles Grand Slams but last year reached the fourth round in Paris. The Grampians Classic this year saw her get to the quarter finals but last week failed to make the main draw of the tournament in which Muguruza made it to the final. This week has seen her yet to drop a set but she has benefited from all the shocks in this tournament. The only seed beaten by her was the 16th seeded Maria Sakkari in the first round.  Muguruza is in great form, she can win this final in straight sets.
