Barbora Krejcikova vs Elena Rybakina Prediction & Betting Tips - WTA Wimbledon Championships

Fourth seed Elena Rybakina is through to yet another Wimbledon semi-final where she will play 31st seed Barbora Krejcikova. Here’s our prediction for the third match between the two.

Barbora Krejcikova is now just two wins away from becoming a two-time major champion. The former French Open champion is having her best-ever campaign at the All England Club. In her previous three appearances here, she had only qualified for the second week of competing once. The Czech player isn’t a renowned grasscourt player but this is changing at SW19.

Krejcikova arrived here while on a losing record after struggling with her form due to fitness issues. She has now compiled a 12-9 record and has won seven of nine matches on grass. To advance to this round, she defeated Jelena Ostapenko in straight sets and has now moved to 18th in the live ranking. Krejcikova has never lost against Rybakina in two encounters.

Elena Rybakina is now just two wins from being confirmed as a two-time Wimbledon champion. The world number four triumphed here in only her second-ever main draw appearance in 2022. Last year, she was eliminated in the quarter-finals.

To make sure that this wasn’t the case again this season, the Kazakh got the better of 21st seed Elina Svitolina. She won in straight sets for the fourth time in her last five outings. Rybakina is having a terrific season and only one player has compiled a better record than her 40 wins in 47 outings.

She has contested five finals and won three titles. This form should have her fully confident of a first victory against Krejcikova. The winner of this encounter will play Jasmine Paolini or Donna Vekic in the championship match.
