Barbora Krejcikova vs Daria Kasatkina Prediction & Betting Tips - Zhengzhou Open

Seventh seeded Barbora Krejcikova is the highest seed left in the Zhengzhou Open. The Czech faces eighth seeded Daria Kasatkina for a place in the final of this hard court tournament. Waiting in the final will be either Jasmine Paolini or Zheng Qinwen, both who are unseeded. Krejcikova began this tournament ranked 18th in the world but is up three places in the live list. As far as the WTA Race goes, the 27-year-old is 13th but won't be in the end-of-season finals. Krejciikova has already won two titles this year and both were achieved on hard courts, most recently in San Diego last month. After an early exit in the China Open, Krejcikova has reached the last four in Zhengzhou without dropping a set. The quarter finals saw her win the first set against qualifier Lesia Tsurenko who then retired from the match.

Daria Kasatkina trails her opponent 2-1 in previous meetings. This is their third match of the year, both on hard courts and they are 1-1. Kastakina won a three-setter in Adelaide but lost to Krejcikova in the Dubai tournament that the Czech went on to win. The Russian was in 12th place in the rankings when this tournament began. Her run to this semi-final has seen her climb a place to 11th and 17th in the WTA Race. The 26-year-old is in her first semi-final since the Eastbourne grass court event where she lost in the final. On hard courts, this is her second last four appearance of the year but the first since January. Wins this week have come without losing a set but it's not been the hardest of routes. There were wins over a lucky loser and a wild card before receiving a walkover against Ons Jabeur in the last eight. We go for Krejcikova to get the win in this match.
