Baltimore Ravens vs Los Angeles Chargers Prediction & Betting Tips - NFL

The NFL wildcard play-offs continue as Baltimore Ravens host the Los Angeles Chargers. The Ravens won the AFC North division ahead of the Pittsburgh Steelers with a 10-6 regular season record.  This is the first time that they have reached the play-offs sinve the 2014 season and they are bidding to win the Super Bowl in their last season under general manager Ozzie Newsome. Their season began well going to 3-1 but then a bad spell of results saw them slip to 4-5 with three straight defeats. They rallied well though to win six of the next seven to win their division. Lamar Jackson has been instrumental in their recent success and the QB won the Heisman Trophy after replacing the injured Joe Flacco. Baltimore only lost one home game in the regular season.

Los Angeles Chargers ended their regular season with a 12-4 record but that was only good enough to see them finish second in the AFC West behind the Kansas City Chiefs due to the Chiefs having the better divisional record (5-1 v 4-2). The Chargers have managed to win at least ten games for the first time since 2009 when they were based in San Diego. They made a slow start to their season losing two of their first three games, though they were against the Chiefs and Los Angeles Rams. The next six games were all won before losing by just a point to the Denver Broncos. They recovered with a winning streak of four games but then lost to Baltimore Ravens before ending the season with a win over Denver.  The Ravens had a win over the Chargers just two weeks ago and handled their opponents QB well, a repeat of that performance can see them reach the divisional play-offs and a meeting with the New England Patriots.
