Baltimore Ravens vs Kansas City Chiefs Prediction & Betting Tips - NFL
by Matthew Newman | in NFL Predictions
The AFC Championship Game will be played on Sunday evening with the Baltimore Ravens hosting the Kansas City Chiefs. This is the 6th straight year that the Chiefs have appeared in this game but this is the first one that has not been played at Arrowhead. The Ravens are the number one seed, so home advantage is theirs after their NFL-leading record of 13-4 during the regular season. They have made it to two Super Bowls in the past, winning one while the Chiefs have made it to three of the last four, winning two of them.
The San Francisco 49ers will take on the Detroit Lions in the NFC Championship game later on Sunday evening before taking on the winner of this game in Super Bowl LVIII on February 11.

Baltimore Ravens - Kansas City Chiefs: Form Analysis
The Ravens ended the regular season with the best record in the league at 13-4, rolling that over into a dominant second-half performance of their opening playoffs game with the Houston Texans. Tied 10-10 at the half, they got the run game going in the second half to take the game away from the less-experienced team.
It was a quick start from the defending champions, 7-2 when they reached their bye week but instead of the break helping them, they would lose four of their next six games. They have righted the ship since with four straight wins that have included flashes of brilliance from the offence that has been missing for a large chunk of the season. Defensively, they gave up the second-fewest points this season, which will prove important against a Ravens team that racks up the points at home.

Baltimore Ravens & Kansas City Chiefs Squad Analysis
Tight end Mark Andrews is fit again for the Ravens adding another dimension to their attack. Their cornerback Marlon Humphrey is questionable to play. Humphrey has been selected for three Pro Bowl appearances so his loss on the defensive side would be a big one. Apart from that, the Ravens enter the game in good shape.
The Chiefs will be missing wide receiver Skyy Moore who scored the first touchdown of his career in the Super Bowl last season. Fellow wide receiver Kadarius Toney along with running back Isiah Pacheco were both limited in practice this week and are listed as questionable. To add to their woes, Joe Thuney will be missing from his guard position with a pectoral injury. Selected to the Pro Bowl both last season and this, he is one of the top offensive line blockers in the game.
