Baltimore Ravens vs Cincinnati Bengals Prediction & Betting Tips - NFL
by Joseph King | in NFL Predictions
Sunday Night Football in the NFL sees a key AFC North clash when the Cincinnati Bengals travel to the M@T Bank Stadium to take on the Baltimore Ravens. Both teams are fighting for the top spot in the division along with the Cleveland Browns as each team finds themselves with a 2-2 record after the first four games of the season. The Bengals have bounced back after losing their opening two games to now make it two wins on the trot after their 27-15 victory over the Dolphins on Thursday Night Football last week. Their opponents come into this game after a close 23-20 loss to the high-powered Bills after failing to score a single point in the second half. A win would be huge for both teams in a matchup that could go a long way to deciding the eventual division winner come the end of the year.Limited Offer. Currently at DraftKings

Baltimore Ravens - Cincinnati Bengals: Form Analysis
The Ravens have struggled for consistency in the early season as they have traded a win for a loss throughout the first four weeks. The offense struggled against the Bills with former MVP Lamar Jackson having one of the worst outings of his career, managing to throw for just 143 yards with two interceptions. His overall level of play has still been extremely high however, and his name should be in the MVP conversation if he can continue to put up numbers while improving his teams overall standing. The Bengals got the better of the Ravens last season, winning both matchups while scoring a total of 82 points. However, it was the Ravens who had previously been on top in previous seasons, winning the last five meetings before last year’s campaign.

Baltimore Ravens & Cincinnati Bengals Squad Analysis
Key to the Bengals chances in this game will be their offensive line performance and whether or not the Ravens pass rush can get to quarterback Joe Burrow. Cincinnati has only given up a total of three sacks in their past two games, both wins, after giving up a combined 13 sacks in the first two games of the season, both losses. On the other side, Baltimore will have to get tight-end Mark Andrews more involved in the offense after being held to only two catches and 15 yards against Buffalo.
Baltimore Ravens - Cincinnati Bengals Key Points
- The Bengals rank tied for fourth worst in the NFL in sacks with seven and will likely struggle this week getting to the elusive Lamar Jackson.
- The Bengals offense currently ranks 29th in the league in yards per play at only 4.78 while the Ravens rank fourth at 6.25.
- Despite struggling against the Bills, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is still playing at an MVP level and has put up 893 passing yards with 11 passing touchdowns as well as 316 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns.
- While the Bengals pass protection has improved week by week, they have still allowed the third most sacks in the NFL with their opponents getting to Burrow 16 times in four games.

Our Baltimore Ravens vs Cincinnati Bengals Prediction
This is likely to be a tight game in a difficult to call division matchup between two rivals. However, we’re going to back the Ravens to get the win at home and cover the -3 point spread in the process. The look-ahead line on this game was -3.5 which eventually dropped to give us the hook on a field goal victory in large part likely due to the Bengals week four performance against Miami. This is a decent “sell-high” spot for Cincinnati who still have some glaring weaknesses, notably the offensive line, after recording two straight wins. Lamar Jackson and the Ravens offense should bounce back here after a disastrous second half against the Bills and get the job done on home soil.
