The penultimate match in week four of the EPCR Challenge Cup will see Bayonne playing host to Gloucester on Sunday afternoon. Bayonne will enter this match with confidence after delivering a commanding performance to dispatch Black Lion 41-16 on the road last weekend. 

That win was their third in their last four, which included back-to-back victories over Castres and Vannes in the Top 14, while they were beaten 42-10 by Montpellier. 

L'Aviron have been impeccable on their home patch in recent times, currently riding an eight-match win streak across all competition, including a 17-16 victory over Scarlets in their only Challenge Cup home fixture. 

Meanwhile, Gloucester are also set to enter this match off the back of a big result, beating Scarlets 31-7 at home last weekend. 

The Cherry and Whites have now posted seven wins in their last 10 games, while their only defeat in this competition was away to Vannes last month. 

The visitors were also beaten by Exeter Chiefs in the Premiership in their last outing, meaning they are now looking to avoid a third strain away loss and a seventh in the last 10.
