Wales take on Australia in Pool D with the winners almost certain to finish top. Winning the pool is important as the pool leaders are likely to face France, while the runners-up can look forward to facing England. Both teams won their first pool match with Wales defeating Georgia 43-14 and Australia getting a 39-21 victory over Fiji. Australia have had the upperhand in previous games against Wales with 30 wins from 42 matches. They had won 13 games in a row before Wales beat them 9-6 last November. There have been some tight games though with eight games in the last 11 years won by five points or less. Australia weren't that impressive against a Fiji side that has since lost to Uruguay. Wales will put considerably more pressure on the Wallabies and can get the win in this game.
