Australia vs New Zealand Prediction & Betting Tips - ICC World Cup
by Steve Ashfield | in Cricket Predictions
Australia are top of the ICC World Cup group and face New Zealand in a repeat of the 2015 final, which they won. With their previously banned players back in their squad, the Australians have put on a series of impressive performances. Only India have been able to beat them and Tuesday saw them get an impressive victory over England to qualify for the semi-finals. David Warner has scored 500 runs on his international comeback and Aaron Finch has been equally destructive with 496 runs from his seven innings. With Steven Smith scoring three half-centuries, it's easy to see why Australia have been doing well. It's not all about batting though and Mitchell Starc has been in great form for them with 19 wickets and look out for Jason Behrendorff who certainly damaged England on Tuesday with a five-wicket haul.
New Zealand hadn't lost any of their games until Wednesday when they were beaten by Pakistan. They have 11 points and even though their final two games are against Australia and England, the Kiwis should have enough points in the bag to reach yet another semi-final. Kane Williamson could be the key to this game as he looks to add to the 414 runs he's scored in this tournament with two centuries. If he can get another big score then New Zealand have a chance but with Australia's bowling line-up in such good form, the tip here is for an Australian victory.

Our Australia vs New Zealand Prediction
Australia are looking a good tip at present to again win the ICC World Cup. They have only lost one of their games to date and put on an impressive display against England on Tuesday, both with the bat and the ball. A lot will depend on how Kane Williamson plays in this game. If Australia's in-form bowlers can get him out for a low-score then the Kiwis will struggle. Australia have the momentum and more in-form players, so back them to win this match.
