A first-time winner of the T20 World Cup is guaranteed as Australia take on New Zealand. The Australians have at least previously reached a final, though that was 11 years ago. Australia have taken a while to get the hang of this version of the game. This tournament has seen a breakthrough though with some good displays from their batsmen and bowlers. They looked to be on the way to defeat against Pakistan but then Matthew Wade hit three successive sixes and that was that. With David Warner in solid form, Australia has a good chance of winning this final.
