The Hawks are gaining momentum at the right time with the playoffs in clear view. They have won six of their last eight games and are on a two-match winning run. This stretch of games has improved them to a 34-36 record.

With 12 games left of the regular season, they sit 4.5 games off six spot and 10 above the teams outside the play-in. Atlanta, who are on a back-to-back, defeated the Warriors 124-112 on the first night.

The Sixers are still mathematically in with a chance of making the postseason as they are six games from the play-in bracket. Their form and injuries, however, suggest the postseason is beyond them.
