The Atlanta Hawks host the Memphis Grizzlies at the State Farm Arena on Saturday in this inter-conference meeting. The Hawks’ 14-14 record sees them sitting seventh in the East while the Grizzlies come into this game sitting second in the West with a 19-9 record. To the match prediction! 

The Hawks have come back down to Earth somewhat following their six-game winning streak earlier in the month. A 133-126 overtime defeat to the Spurs on Thursday evening marked the second loss in a row for Atlanta as well as their third in the last four outings.

After dropping double-digit assists for the fifth game in a row following a 23-point, 16 assist performance on Thursday, star point guard Trae Young is listed as questionable for Saturday’s contest.

It would obviously be a major blow to the Hawks’ chances should Young miss out here as he leads the team in both points per game (21.6) and assists (12.2).

The visiting Grizzlies have been on a revenge tour this season and are looking like legitimate title contenders. A 144-93 humiliation of the Warriors at home on Thursday was the fifth victory for Memphis in their last seven outings.

They’ve won eight of their last 10 and are trying to keep pace with the first-place Thunder, who they trail by 3.5 games in the standings.
