The Atlanta Hawks (32-34) are set to host the Los Angeles Clippers (36-30) at State Farm Arena in Friday's NBA cross-conference matchup. The Hawks are seventh in the Eastern Conference table, while the Clippers are eighth in the Western Conference. Here's our match prediction. 

The Atlanta Hawks have seen improvements in their performance after losing three of their four games. Coming into this game, they are riding a four-match winning streak. 

It has to be pointed out that all those victories came at home. This means they are playing their final home game of a six-game homestand.

The Hawks' most recent triumph came against the Charlotte Hornets, winning 123-110 at home despite an uneven offence. In that match, Trae Young led the team with 35 points, had 7 rebounds, and 12 assists on a cold shooting night.

The Los Angeles Clippers, on the other hand, really stepped up to the challenge on their second night of a back-to-back as they triumphed 119-104 over the Miami Heat away from home. 

This comes after suffering a shocking 127-120 away defeat against the New Orleans Pelicans. They enter their final match of a three-game road trip aiming to make it two wins on the bounce.

The Clippers have been in good form in the league. They have won four of their last five games but saw their opponents break the century mark on three occasions.
