This Saturday, the Atlanta Hawks (19-19) will aim to return to winning ways when they play host to the Houston Rockets (25-12) at State Farm Arena in the NBA's inter-conference clash. The Hawks are ninth in the Eastern Conference table, while the Rockets are second in the Western Conference. Here's our match prediction. 

The Atlanta Hawks wrapped up their sixth road trip with a recent 123-115 defeat against the Phoenix Suns. It wasn't one of their best performances on the road as they lost four of their six games.

Perhaps a change of scenery could reignite their confidence, and a return to State Farm Arena might be the first step towards an improved display. 

The Hawks have been on a promising run at home this season with a 10-7 record and have given a good account of themselves recently winning three consecutive matches.

The Houston Rockets boosted their title hopes with a hard-fought 119-115 away win against the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday. This was the team's third consecutive win since their setback against the Celtics on January 4th.

The Rockets have now won four of their last five matches and come into this contest with an imposing 12-6 away record accompanied by a five-match winning streak. 

That said, they may be able to extend their winning streak on the road to six games despite dropping their last two matches against the Hawks.
