The Atlanta Hawks will welcome the Detroit Pistons when they take to the court next in the NBA. The Hawks enter this match as the ninth seed in the Eastern Conference and trail their sixth-placed visitors by four games. Find below our prediction for this match.

The Hawks lost their last two matches. Right before the All-Star break, Quin Snyder’s men lost a close OT matchup to the Knicks. Resuming their campaign after the recess, they were outgunned 114-108 at home by the Magic.

That was their 30th loss of the campaign, and saw them drop to four games below .500. The Hawks did, however, defeat the Pistons in their most recent meeting three weeks ago in Detroit.

Larry Nance Jr and Vit Krejci are both unavailable due to injuries.

The Pistons are in great form. They have won their last five games which is the second time this season they have racked up as many.

J.B. Bickerstaff’s men are now seeking to win six in a row for the first time this season. Detroit resumed their season after the All-Star recess with a convincing 125-110 victory away to the Spurs.

They have now won 30 of 56 games and have a three game cushion on the play-in places.

The visitors do not have any recent injury concerns with only Jaden Ivey expected to miss out.
