The Cleveland Cavaliers will travel to the State Farm Arena to face the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA on Friday evening. The Hawks (8-11) are ninth in the Eastern Conference, while the Cavs (17-2) are leading the conference standings. Check out our match prediction below. 

The Atlanta Hawks will be brimming with confidence coming into this match, having pulled off a big upset by beating this opponent 135-124 on the road on Thursday. 

De’Andre Hunter put up 26 points and five rebounds off the bench, while Jalen Johnson and Trae Young also contributed 20+ points, with the latter notching up 22 assists as well. 

The Hawks are a top-10 side on offence this season, averaging 116.6 points per game, but they could still use major improvement on defence where they are allowing 121.2 PPG (28th in the league).

Meanwhile, the defeat in midweek was just the second one that the Cleveland Cavaliers have conceded this season and they will undoubtedly be out for revenge here. 

Donovan Mitchell led the team with 30 points and seven assists, while Evan Mobley added 22 points and 12 rebounds, and Darius Garland chipped in with 19 points. 

The Cavaliers are still the highest-scoring team in the league, putting up 6.9 more points per game than the Hawks while allowing 8.9 points fewer on defence.
