AS Monaco vs Maccabi Tel-Aviv Prediction & Betting Tips - EuroLeague

Monaco will be at home to welcome Maccabi Tel Aviv on Match Day 2 of the 2024/25 EuroLeague season. Both teams won their opening round ties and are separated by points difference in the standings with Monaco top and Maccabi sixth. Here’s our prediction of this match.

Monaco defeated Milano at home last week 93-80. It was the best winning margin of round one and immediately sent them top. Alpha Diallo led the team with 20 points with Elie Okobo and Furkan Korkmaz adding 14 and 10 points respectively.

Korkmaz will, however, miss this match with injury. Monaco, the reigning French champions, have had an unconvincing start to the season. Sasa Obradovic’s men lost two of their four matches across all competitions and are coming off an 88-71 defeat away to ASVEL last time out in the Pro A.

Monaco have won the last three times they were at home against Maccabi.

Maccabi Tel Aviv defeated Monaco the last time they met, back in January at home during the regular season of the previous campaign. They’ve had their fair share of spoils in this matchup and will arrive for this tie confident of a win.

Oded Kattash’s side, who don’t have any injury concerns for this trip, have had an excellent start to the season. They are unbeaten across all competitions.

After back-to-back domestic League Cup wins, Maccabi claimed the spoils in a nail-biting 89-82 victory over ASVEL to begin their European campaign. They haven’t taken to the court since then with their domestic duties over the weekend being postponed.

With ample time to prepare for this trip to France, the Israeli giants are in a good place.

Three players managed at least 15 points against ASVEL for Maccabi. Tamir Blatt led the team with 21 points.
