AS Monaco vs FC Barcelona Prediction & Betting Tips - EuroLeague

Monaco are fifth in the Euroleague and host Barcelona who are back up to second in the table behind Real Madrid. The home side has a season record of 9-7 in Euroleague this season. Their most recent game saw them get a 91-80 win at Bayern. They took a good lead in the first half going into the break with a 15 point lead. Bayern fought back to win the third quarter by eight points but Monaco recovered to go onto win the fourth quarter and the match. That was a much welcome victory after losing their previous two Euroleague fixtures. A loss at Fenerbahce was followed by a disappointing 91-90 home loss to Panathinaikos. Monaco were 11 points ahead in that game going into the final quarter. However, they conceded 35 points in the final quarter. That was their third loss in seven home Euroleague games this season with two of the last three being lost.

Barcelona have been having problems with their Euroleague form in recent weeks. That saw them drop to third in the table and lose ground on leaders Real Madrid. Barcelona had lost three out of four fixtures before returning to form on December 22. They travelled to Zalgiris Kaunas and beat them by five points. It took a strong final quarter to clinch the win as they were trailing by three points. Only seven points were conceded by them in the final quarter as they returned to winning ways. On the road in Euroleague this season Barcelona have won four games but lost the same number. We believe they can build on their recent win and defeat Monaco.
