Monaco will host Olympiacos in a tantalizing EuroLeague round 13 match involving two of the top four teams in the standings. Both teams are tied on the same record and separated by points differential. Below is our prediction for this match.

Monaco are seeking to win three successive rounds in the EuroLeague. The French heavyweights, who made a coaching change a week ago and appointed Billy Spanoulis, have improved to 8-4.

They defeated Panathinaikos 91-88 away from home in Spanoulis’ first match in charge. Monaco, who could move up to number one with a win here, are averaging 85.3 points a night.

Olympiacos saw a run of six successive wins halted on matchday 12. Georgios Bartzokas’ men, who are third in the standings, suffered a 78-70 defeat away to Partizan. The loss continued their woeful away record in Europe this season.

Olympiacos, who are one of two teams with a 100% home record, have lost four of their six away fixtures. The Greek giants, who have a +19 points advantage over Monaco, are putting up 85.1 points a night on average.

Defensively, they are holding teams to 79.4 points which is the fourth-best such record. Centre Moses Wright has missed Olympiacos’ last two matches with illness and could be sidelined again here.
