The only two remaining seeds in the Brisbane International meet in the semi-final. Top seed Aryna Sabalenka faces the eighth-seeded Mirra Andreeva for a place in the final. Here's our match prediction.

An unseeded player awaits in the final of this outdoor hard court tournament. Either Anhelina Kalinina or qualifier Polina Kudermetova will be the opponent for the winner of this match.

Aryna Sabalenka is bidding to reach the final here for the second successive year. The world number one has had a good week as she prepares to try and win the Australian Open for the third straight year.

Wins have come against Renata Zarazua, 15th seed Yulia Putintseva and unseeded Marie Bouzkova, all in straight sets. Sabalenka leads Andreeva 2-1 in previous meetings but all have been played on clay. Andreeva's win came in the 2024 French Open.

17-year-old Mirra Andreeva ended 2024 well by reaching the final of the Ningbo Open. The Russian has continued that good form with a run to this semi-final. Anna Blinkova, 12th seed Linda Noskova, and Ons Jabeur have been beaten without a set being dropped.

Andreeva is up to a career-high 15th in the live rankings and can rise another place if beating the top seed. We don't believe that iis going to happen though and tip Sabalenka to win in straight sets.
