Top seed Aryna Sabalenka seeks to maintain her current winning streak when she takes on unseeded Karolina Muchova in Beijing. We have the stats and a prediction for this quarter-final match, from which the winner will play Mirra Andreeva, Amanda Anisimova or Qinwen Zheng.

Sabalenka is in excellent form, and is a huge favourite to not only win this match but go all the way. The Belarussian has won 15 successive matches, a run that started in Cincinnati. In this run, she has two titles and lost just one set.

The reigning US Open champion advanced to her 10th successive quarter-final by defeating Madison Keys in straight sets. She lost seven games in the contest which is the most she has allowed in this tournament.

The world number two, who has compiled a 49-11 record, will tie this series with Muchova at 2-2 with a win here.

Karolina Muchova is also in fine form and with her head-to-head advantage, will arrive confident of a win. The Czech player, who had a late start to her season, has won 16 of 21 matches so far this year.

Ten of her wins have come in 12 outings on hard courts. Muchova, who had a runner-up finish in Palermo and a semi-final run at the US Open, has won nine of her last 10 fixtures.

This form has seen her leap in the live ranking and is now placed 41st. Another win will see her rise up to 36th. Muchova, who has also yet to lose a set in Beijing, beat Cristina Bucsa in the fourth round 6-2, 6-0.

The 28-year-old defeated Sabalenka last year on her way to the Cincinnati final to claim the advantage in this fixture.
