There'll definitely be an unseeded player in the last four of the Atlanta Open. This quarter-final match sees unseeded Arthur Rinderknech take on qualifier Mattia Bellucci. Read on to find out more about the players and our prediction.

Rinderknech is the world number 64 but 78th in the live list. He won a Challenger Tour event last July and is due to lose those points. That makes this deep run in Atlanta even more important for him. Time on a hard court is also important with the US Open on its way.

The Frenchman is playing his first hard court tournament since March. This is his second ATP Tour quarter-final on this surface in 2024. The other was in Marseille but his best result was winning a hard court Challenger Tour event.

To reach the last eight, Rinderknech has beaten two lucky losers. J J Wolf was defeated in round one with only five games lost. He then took on Adam Walton and again won in straight sets but the first did go to a tie-break. He celebrated his 29th birthday on Tuesday so it's already a big week for him.

Mattia Bellucci caused a surprise in round two with a win over second-seeded Adrian Mannarino. He had to go to three sets to win that match, dropping the middle one. The Italian is down at 146th in the latest rankings and had to qualify to get into this main draw.

He had to win two matches and the second of those was against Adam Walton who was then reinstated and lost to Rinderknech in round two. He had to go to three sets to get past the Australian. Round one saw Bellucci come from a set down to beat Aleksander Vukic who retired in the final set.

Now he's up to 125th in the live rankings and takes on another French player but we tip Rinderknech to get the win.
