Ninth seed Hubert Hurkacz takes on wildcard Arthur Cazaux for a place in the last eight of the Australian Open. Up next for the winner will be a match against either third seed Daniil Medvedev or unseeded Nico Borges. Hurkacz is in the fourth round of a Grand Slam for only the fifth time. His best performance in this hard court Grand Slam is the fourth round he reached last year. He stil has work to do to match his best result of a Wimbledon semi-final. The Pole is up a place to eighth in the world rankings and a couple more wins will take him into the top seven. So far in this Australian Open, the 26-year-old has built on the form that saw him win three of his five matches in the United Cup. He had to go to a final set to get past qualifier Jakub Mensak in round two and then four to beat Ugo Humbert in the third.

Now he takes on another French player and his opponent is enjoying his best run in a Grand Slam event. The 21-year-old was ranked 122nd at the start of this tournament but is up to a career high 83rd thanks to reaching the last 16 here. He's a former finalist in the juniors here and is now doing well in the senior event. This is only his fourth time in a main draw but the first time he's got past round one. Doing so nearly didn't happen as he went two sets to one down to Laslo Djere in round one. He managed to get through that and since then has beaten the eighth seed Holger Rune and in round three, 28th seeded Tallon Griekspoor losing only seven games. Hurkacz is in good form and we tip him to win this fourth round match.
