Wildcard McCartney Kessler continues her Tennis in the Land campaign against unseeded Arantxa Rus in the quarter-finals. Here are some stats and our prediction ahead of this match set for Thursday.

Rus has had a strong run to her debut appearance in Cleveland and is the favourite to win here. The Dutch player won both her matches here without dropping a set. After ousting Lucia Bronzetti in the first round, Rus overcame the challenge of seventh seed Viktoriya Tomova in the last round.
