Angelique Kerber vs Bianca Andreescu Prediction & Betting Tips - WTA Indian Wells

Bianca Andreescu is the surprise finalist at Indian Wells. The 18-year-old is ranked 60th in the world but will be a lot higher after this week's performances. She needed a wild card to get into the main draw but has shown that was a good decision giving her one. Her tournament nearly ended in the first round as she went a set down to Irina Carmelia-Begu but recovered to win in three sets. Since then Andreescu has beaten four seeds in a row. The semi-final saw her defeat the sixth seed Elina Svitolina in three sets dropping the middle one. Before this tournament, she had success in the lower-tier 125K series winning a tournament in Newport Beach and this is by far the biggest match of her career.

She takes on the eighth seed Angelique Kerber who is the only seed left in the tournament. It's her first final of the year, her previous best performance was reaching the semi-final in Doha. Kerber has had two three-setters in this tournament but in the semi-final beat Belinda Bencic in straight sets for the loss of just six games. This is her first Indian Wells final after losing two previous semi-finals. The form shown in her previous two rounds against Venus Williams and Belinda Bencic is top notch. If she keeps that up, then Kerber can win her first title here.
