Both players are 1-0 after their opening games and whoever wins this match should reach the semi-finals most likely having to face Djokovic or Federer.  Murray has the home support and also the best recent form. He's been chalking up lots of wins in recent weeks with only Novak Djokovic getting the better of him with wins in the Paris final and Shanghai semi-final. He had a comfortable straight sets win over David Ferrer in his first match in this group and his form should be good enough to get the better of Nadal. The Spaniard has been showing improved form in the latter part of the year and his injuries seem to be under control at present. He beat Wawrinka in his opening match avenging the defeat he suffered in Paris. Wawrinka is the only top four player Nadal has beaten this year and he lost his only other match against Murray this year. That was a straight sets defeat winning just five games on clay in Madrid, a result almost unthinkable in recent years. I go for Murray to get a straight sets win here.
