Andy Murray vs Matteo Berrettini Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Stuttgart Open

It's taken a while since his comeback for Andy Murray to be steadily climbing up the rankings. He takes on Matteo Berrettini in the final of the BOSS Open and a win can take him back into the top 40. Murray began this grass court event ranked 68th but is up to 47th after reaching this final. A win over Berrettini will see him rise to 35th and vastly improve his chance of being seeded at Wimbledon. Murray has made it to this final despite being unseeded. Wins have come against Chris O'Connell, seventh seeded Alexander Bublik, the top seed Stefanos Tsitispas and in his semi-final Nick Kygrios. All of that has been achieved without losing a single set.though three tie-breaks have been played. This is his second final this year but his first on grass since he won the second of his Wimbledon titles six years ago. He looks reasonably injury-free at present and is on his favourite surface.

Matteo Berrettini is the world number ten and seeded second for this tournament. Berrettinii got to the final at Wimbledon last year and the Australian Open semi-finals in January. After playing at Indian Wells in March, the Italian was out injured until this tournament. He's not had an easy route to the final though and that began with his first match in the second round. He had to go to three sets to get past qualifier Rudu Albot. The Italian took on sixth seeded Lorenzo Sonego in the quarter finals and had to come from behind to win the all-Italian match. His semi-final was against unseeded Oscar Otte and Berrettini only needed two sets this time but both went to a tie-break. Berrettini also won the Queen's Club title on grass last year but you can tell he's far from his best at present. That's understandable after three months out with injury. Go for Murray to get the win here and have a side bet on there being a tie-break played.
