Andrey Rublev vs Novak Djokovic Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Finals

These two players both won their first matches in the ATP Finals. Novak Djokovic defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas, while his opponent Andrey Rublev got the better of Daniil Medvedev. Djokovic is only seeded seventh and that's one place below Rublev. He's won this title on five previous occasions but the last of those victories were six years ago. The Serb has already won four ATP tournaments this year, despite his disrupted campaign, Only one of his last 22 matches in singles tournaments has been lost. That was in the Paris Masters when he lost to Holger Rune. He bgean this tournament with a straight sets victory over Tsitsipas who is the highest seed left in the Tour Finals after the early exit of Rafael Nadal.

While Novak Djokovic has won this title on five occasions, Andrey Rublev is yet to reach the semi-finals. A win here would end that poor run. The world number seven has won four titles in 2022 but his year has followed a familiar pattern. Last year saw him get off to a great start and then falter in the second half of 2021. This year saw him win three titles by the end of April. It took him until October to win title number four. Since winning the title in Gijon, he's failed to reach the quarter final in two events. He returned to form in his opening match in this tournament, coming from behind to beat Medvedev in three sets, with two of them going to a tie-break. There have only been two previous meetings between these players. One was in this tournament last year when Djokovic won for the loss of just five games. Their most recent meeting was in this year's Serbian Open on clay with Rublev beating Djokovic in the final and winning the final set 6-0.  Back on a hard court and with Djokovic not just back from a lay-off, the Serb can win this.
