Fourth seed Andrey Rublev continues with his quest for a second Rotterdam title and will play eighth seed Hubert Hurkacz in the quarter-finals. The winner of their sixth career meeting will play Pedro Martinez, Holger Rune, Carlos Alcaraz or Andrea Vavassori in the semi-finals. Below is our prediction for this match.

Andrey Rublev is coming off an intense second-rounder with Fabian Marozsan. Though he won the tie in straight sets, he was forced into tiebreakers in both sets.

Rublev is yet to drop a set in Rotterdam and has now registered all of his four wins this year on indoor hard courts. The world number 10 won the Rotterdam title in 2021.

Hubert Hurkacz has defeated Rublev three times in five meetings. He won their most recent encounter to lift the Shanghai title in 2023.

Though he has looked out of sorts this season, this head-to-head advantage will have the Pole confident of victory here. Hurkacz, who arrived in Rotterdam with a losing record, has compiled a shaky 5-4 record.

He is unbeaten on indoor hardcourts thanks to his two wins this week. Hurkacz, the world number 21, defeated Jiri Lehecka in the last round. He won the first set and was ahead in the second when Lehecka withdrew from the competition injured.
