Andrey Rublev vs Daniil Medvedev Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP US Open

Daniil Medvedev made it all the way to the US Open final last year. He has a good chance of repeating that feat in 2020 and takes on Andrey Rublev in the last eight. The winner of this match takes on either Dominic Thiem or Alex de Minaur in the semi-finals. Medvedev is the third seed in this tournament and been in top form over the past week. He is yet to drop a set in four matches and only dropped five games (just one in the last two sets) against Frances Tiafoe in the last round. The most games he has lost in any of his matches so far has been nine. This is the only Grand Slam in which he has made it past the fourth round but if we'd had a full season, it's unlikely that comment would be made.

Andrey Rublev is the tenth seed and is in only his second Grand Slam quarter final. The other was in New York three years ago when losing to Rafael Nadal. His only Grand Slam this year saw him make it to the fourth round in Australia losing in straight sets to Alexander Zverev. It's not been a great year for him and has been beaten by Britain's Daniel Evans in his last two tournaments. He's only dropped one set on his way to this quarter final. That was in the last round when coming from a set down to beat eighth seed (Rublev is seeded 10th) Matteo Berrettini in four sets. That was by far his toughest match so far in this tournament. This is even tougher and the tip is to go for Medvedev to reach the semi-final.
