Alexandre Muller vs Roberto Carballes Baena Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Grand Prix Hassan II

The 2023 Marrakech Open final takes place on Sunday and is contested by two unseededd players. Andre Muller takes on Roberto Carballes Baena hoping to win this outdoor clay court tournament. Muller began this tournament ranked 126th which was a career high for the Frenchman. He's easily surpassed that though with this run to the final and he's up to 96th in the live rankings. Winning this title can see him rise as high as 78th in the world. Muller has spent most of his win on the Challenger Tour and reached the final in Waco. However, he he did show signs of what he's capable of when getting to the last eight in the ATP Tour event held in Doha. His clay court season has got off to a good start with a quarter final in the Sanremo Challenger Tour and now this excellent performance in Marrakech. He's only lost one set on the way to this final, that was when knocking out top seeded Lorenzo Musetti in the last eight. 

To win his first ATP Tour title, he'll have to beat another player who's ranked higher than him. Roberto Carballes Baena began the week ranked 82nd in the world, 11 places below his career high achieved two years ago. Like his opponent, he's also achieved a new career high this week and is up to 63rd in the live rankings. He can rise to 50th if beating Muller to win the Marrakech title. The Spaniard is playing his fifth clay court event of the year having gone to South America for a series of tournaments. That didn't go too well with his best results in four events being two last 16 appearances. It's gone much better in Marrakech though with three seeds being beaten. He defeated fifth seeded Maxime Cressy in the first round (after losing the first set), Tallon Griekspoor (seeded fourth) and in the last four, the second seeded Dan Evans after winning just two games in the first set. Baena is our tip to go on and win this final.
